In this article, you will learn how to delete a gift card or service package template on mobile and what happens to gift cards and packages that were already issued.

When should you delete a template or turn off online sales?

If you want to keep the template for issuing at the location but temporarily remove it from the public offer, edit it and turn off Online sales. Delete it when it will no longer be used for future issuing.

Steps

Open the Main menu.
Under Sales and loyalty, expand Gift cards and packages, then tap Templates.
Select the gift card or service package template.
Tap Delete and confirm.

What happens after deletion?

the template is removed from the active list and can no longer be used for new issuing
it is removed from the public online offer, and its sales link no longer opens an active offer
gift cards and packages that were already issued remain available and keep the details with which they were created
use and history of already issued gift cards and packages remain unchanged
