How to add a type of membership fee (desktop)

In this article, you will learn how to create a type of membership fee through the partner Zoyya web application on your computer.

The type of membership fee serves as a template that determines the rules of use, duration, limitations and price of the membership fee. Once you've created it, use it as the basis for adding individual memberships to clients. This makes adding new memberships faster, and the rules of use remain consistent.

When to use this option?

Use this option when:

  • you are introducing memberships into your business for the first time
  • you want to define the rules for using memberships
  • you offer different types of memberships (e.g. monthly, quarterly or yearly)
  • you want to standardize the duration, limits and prices of memberships

Work steps

Basic data

  1. Open SettingsMembership settingsMembership plans.
  2. Select Add a type.

  1. Enter the name of the type of membership fee.
  2. Optionally add a short description.

Calculation period and duration of the membership fee

  1. Select Billing period.

The accounting period determines how long one period of the membership fee lasts, in which the price and rules of use are calculated.

  1. If the membership fee lasts for several accounting periods, specify the Number of periods.
  2. Determine whether online purchase of the membership fee is enabled.
  3. Select to whom online renewal is available, for example to all or only selected members.

When online renewal is enabled, the client opens the location in the Zoyya client application, selects Memberships, and purchases the same membership type. After successful payment, Zoyya recognizes the existing renewable membership of the same type and creates the next period after the active or already scheduled future period.

The one-time One-time (in days) membership is not renewed. A new purchase creates a new one-time membership.

What it includes

  1. Set the Maximum number of arrivals.

If the limit is not needed, leave the option off so that the membership fee allows an unlimited number of visits. The maximum number of arrivals is the maximum number of arrivals allowed within the period you specified.

Important: The Applies to option is preset to group appointments and cannot be changed.

  1. Select restriction period and reset method.

This allows you to determine the period in which arrivals are counted and when the number of permitted arrivals is renewed.

  1. If necessary, include Additional limit per billing period or Total (during duration).

Use them when you want to additionally limit the total number of arrivals during the membership fee.

  1. Add time limits if necessary.

For example, the membership fee can be valid only on working days or only during certain times. To add time limits, read the article How to add time limits

  1. If the membership fee is not valid for all services, select the services that the membership fee includes in Approved Services.

Price

  1. In the Prices section, enter the price of the membership fee.
  2. Select payment method.
  3. If you use groups of clients, if necessary, set different prices for individual groups.
  4. Click Save.

The membership fee type is now ready to use when adding memberships to clients.

Important: Changing the type of membership fee may affect the memberships based on that type. Before making changes, check if the type of membership fee is already used in working with clients.
