How to set the default payment device (mobile)

The default payment device is used for receipts issued on the current mobile device. Select the correct device before opening the cash register.


Work steps


  1. On the bottom bar, tap Cash register.
  2. Under Cash register settings, tap Payment devices.
  3. Open the required device and verify its data and certificate.
  4. Tap Set as default device and confirm the warning.
  5. Return to Payment devices and verify it under Default payment device.


If the action is disabled, close the active cash register first, set the device as default and then open a new cash register on that device.


Important: The default device determines the payment-device code and receipt-number sequence used for future receipts on that mobile device. It does not change receipts that have already been issued.
