Setting the default payment device (desktop)

The default billing device is the device that Zoyya uses to bill you on the computer you're working on. Before opening the cash register and issuing a bill, it is necessary to select the correct default payment device.

When to use this option?

Setting the default payment device is used when:

1. the user prepares the cash register on the computer for the first time,
2. after creating a new device you should start working on it,
3. the computer should issue invoices from another billing point,
4. default device is not selected,
5. the application displays the warning Default payment device is missing.

The default device is not changed to change the name, deposit, printer or payment type. These settings are edited on the existing device according to the article Changing the billing device and impact on account numbers (computer).

Operation steps

Opening the device

1. On your computer, open Zoyya.
2. In the left menu, open Receipts.
3. Open the Cash register.
4. Open Cash register settings.
5. Open Payment devices.
6. In the table, open the device that should become the default.

Set as default device

1. Check the device information.
2. Check that there are no fiscal certificate warnings.
3. Click Set as default device.
4. Confirm the device change warning.
5. Return to the Payment devices screen.
6. Verify that the device is displayed in the Default billing device: box.

When the button is disabled

1. Close the active cash register.
2. Go back to Payment devices.
3. Open the device again.
4. Click Set as default device.
5. After the change, open the cash register on the new default device.

On the Payment devices screen, the box Default payment device: is displayed. When the default device is not selected, the application displays the warning Default payment device is missing.

Prerequisites for installation

The device should have:

1. the right company,
2. the designation of the business premises that corresponds to ePorezna,
3. payment device label,
4. fiscal certificate,
5. OIB of the certificate that corresponds to the OIB of the device,
6. set payment types to be used.

The Set as default device button is displayed in the device details when the basic conditions are met.

Active cash register

When the cash register is active, the application disables changing the default device. In this case, a message is displayed that it is necessary to close the active cash register before changing the device.

The default device is changed before opening the cash register, not in the middle of working with an active cash register.

Warning about account numbers

When changing the default device, the application displays a warning that the change affects account numbers. This means that future bills will use the sequence of numbers of the selected device.

If a device that has already been used is selected, the application displays an additional warning that the payment device has already been used.
