# How to add time intervals to the membership fee (desktop)

In this article, you will learn how to create a **time slot** for memberships using the partner Zoyya web application on your computer.

The time interval serves as a predefined time limit that determines in which days and hours the membership fee can be used. After creating it, you can apply the same interval to several types of memberships, without entering the same settings again.

## When to use this option?

Use this option when:

* membership fee is valid only on certain days of the week
* membership fee is valid only during certain hours
* you want to use the same time limits for several types of memberships
* you want to avoid re-entering the same time limits

## Work steps

### Creating a time interval

1. Open **Settings** → **Membership settings** → **Time periods**.
2. Click **Add time interval**.
3. In the **Name** field, enter a name by which you will easily recognize the interval later.
4. Select **start time** and **end time**.
5. Mark the days of the week to which the interval applies.
6. Click **Save**.
The new time interval is displayed in the list and is ready to be used when editing the membership fee type.

|| Important: The time interval in itself does not limit the use of memberships. It needs to be selected in the **membership type** settings in order to apply it to all memberships based on that type.

#### Do I have to create a new time interval for each type of membership fee?
No. You can use the same time interval for several types of memberships.

#### Can I create multiple time slots?
Yes. You can create different intervals for different types of memberships, for example morning, afternoon or weekend slots.

#### Can I change the days or hours of the time slot later?
Yes. You can open, edit or delete the time interval at any time if you no longer use it.
